I really like this image a lot. It has so much detailed structure to it.

The processing is wonderful Anthony, and it makes this a very special piece of Imaging.

I would see this as an APOD candidate. Beautiful.

Ron.

Earl, thats the colours produced by the narrowband filters, most Hubble narrowband images are similar.

Antony, that is one of your finest images yet I would say, very nice indeed.

Thank u all very much for all of your inspiring and wonderful words. I am happy that u like the Swan Nebula. I wanna inform you that this is my first image with the new CCD ATIK 314L+ camera that i have won in the annual competition of ATIK before 1 month. Many new wonders of the Universe will follow and i am happy to share them with all of you. Thanks again!

Dalglish,

The Hubble Pallette assigns S11, Ha and O111 filtered images respectively to the red, green and blue channels. It is intended to bring out structural details in a false colour image. What is excellent (among other things!) in Anthony's image is the lack of unpleasant star haloes which can plague this combination.

This is quite exceptional stuff.

I think the set point cooling and better physical shape of the 314L will be an advantage in your setup and in Greek summers, Anthony!

Olly
