First attempt at Mars with the C9.25 and a Powermate 2.5. I think I can process it further but some artifacts are preventing me from that.

Some good detail, just needs a tweak with colour balance, looks too red to me. It would also help with contrast of surface features as well. Polar cap should be bright white.

I took the liberty of having a tweak, see attached image.

The 'corrected' image looks so much better.

I need to re-listen to 'The War of the Worlds' ...Justin Hayward's original 'musical' version.
BTW - Justin Hayward is the only other person I know of that is allowed to use the word The... in the title... followed by War of the Worlds apart from H G Wells himself.

Thinking again about the red hue, are you using an IR/UV cut filter with your colour camera? if not you can get this issue.
