I have had a flex 10" Dob for many years, and use doing presentations Year K -6 primary schools, Cubs and Joeys, scout movement with my own club

Not sure which finderscope you have, if a straight through one, upgrade to right angle one, as saves laying on damp ground at night trying to spot objects overhead

Also the base is chipboard construction,  and suspectable to moisture in the ground, also recommend water proof ground sheet under the base to protect from the moisture

I found out tonight that trying to aim with the eazyfinder2 at Ursa Major I  was laying on my back on the wet grass 

going cross eyed trying to see the red dot

but for the first night  observed Vega, spica,and cappella.
