Hi, I'm Chris Rowland.

I'm based in High Wycombe and am Observatory Officer of the Wycombe Astronomical Society.

Scopes:

Nexstar 11GPS and AS-GT with an Oynx 80EDF.

Cameras:

Modified webcam, Artemis 286 and EOS400D

Currently building a pier for the NS11.

hi Chris, I'm near Great Missenden.. what's your experience of the skies where you are?

I'm on the Eastern side of HW, looking over the valley to the South. It's not too bad for an urban site; on a good night I can just about see the Milky Way. Our Society's site between HW and Amersham is better once the football pitch floodlights are out.

Hi Chris, welcome to the forum. No need to introduce yourself to me though as I'm also a member of the WAS! Which reminds me that my sub is due...
