Looks like a great site, and not too far from us - is the google maps picture accurate still as to which pitches are hard-standing? Do they all have EHU?

Yes the Google maps are up to date unless something has changed over the winter.

All the pitches on the field we use have EHU, which is The Oaks.

Yes they can but there will be an additional fees for the extra campers, not sure about the tent though.

Thanks for confirming Danny,

Have a look at the top of this thread at the campsite web page it is in yellow.

All the tariffs are there. On arrival park in car park and pay at either the Office or house.

Both are just a few yards from the entrance. Everything is signposted.

Only two weeks ?, I'd better unwrap the caravan and see if it survived the winter...

Looking forward to it.

If it survived Storm Callum at FF Mick, I'm sure it survived the winter.

See you there.

Hi folks

Sadly I won't be able to make it this time as I will be in Hospital on Friday having a biopsy done, something I'm really not looking forward to. Plus a very good astro friend of mine passed away recently & the funeral is on Tuesday so not been having much of a good time lately.

Sorry folks ☹️

One sleep night for me Mike. I will be loading the car shortly, with just the food to do in the Morning.

Only taking the bare minimum astro gear this year.

I'm trying out my 'weekender' setup,  just the SW AZGTi  mount, WO Zenithstar 61 scope, on an EQ5 adapted tripod.

Storm Callum last year put the dampers on it at FF.

I'll put the kettle on ready Mike.

Hi Tony,

I've got to remember the antenna cable for the tele this time, or Dorothy may designate my sleeping accommodation to outside in the cold.  :D

Think I'll dust off the Telementor for this trip, as I would like to try out a couple of items acquired since it last saw starlight.

We will also be bringing some "Atomic Fireballs" to take the edge off the chilly nights.
