M45 From Kelling Heath

Recommended Posts

On Wednesday I came down with a cold and some how dragged myself out of bed on Thursday to face packing and a 230 mile drive to Kelling. After long drive and setting up camp, I forced myself into setting up my imaging gear. I'm so glad I did as I managed to get three hours of data of M45 and finally crawled into bed at 4.00am.

Here's the fruit of my labour M45 taken with a Canon 400D. Exposure 36 x 5mins at ISO800. Stacked in DSS Asinh curves applied, Dynamic Background Extraction in Pix Insight LE, finished in PSCS3 and Noels Actions.

Ah!, no greater love has a man, than to risk Pneumonia to get a picture of Messier 45.

However, he is forgiven, because it's a belter, and worth risking 6 weeks off work for. :laughing2:

Joking aside Kevin, you excelled with this one mate. :salute:

Ron. :)
