Flame nebula close up and personal.

Heres my version of the flame nebula, take last month. Taken through my MN190, in h-alpha, the camera was an Atik 314 mono. Did this one last year, but more subs this time improved it from last attempt. 18 x 8 min subs...........

A lovely nebula, often over-shadowed by its neighbour. Lots of detail in H-alpha.

This is a fascinating object by itself and would be on many peoples 'fave' lists was it not for the bright and photobombing Alnitak near-by and of course that other gas cloud close at hand.

Very nice... It deserves a solo spot. It actually looks like a flaming bush or tree.
