Televue Powermate Choice

As part of enhancing my 150 MATSUTOV and Skyris 132C for planetary imaging I'm looking at getting a TVP as a replacement for my cheap 2x Barlow Lens. I can't decide whether to go for the 2" or the 1.25". I do have a couple of 2" Naglers so I'd probably be a fool not to take those onto consideration. Has anyone else had experience with TVP's on these MATSUTOV scopes?

I can recommend the Televue 2" x2 Powermate.

Rock solid, and it sets a benchmark in performance.

It has a 2" to 1.25" eyepiece adapter too.

I used a TV x2.5 1.25" on a 127 mak. Some years ago. The maks do well with powermates but you will need to make sure you scope is well collimated to get the best from the power mate if your going for high mags. 

I sold the scope twelve or more years ago but still use the powermate, last night in fact. In the long run buy the best one for your needs you can and in another ten years you will think it a great barging.

If the 2 inch come with a 2 to1 1/4 adapter why not get the 2 inch.
