Lovely and clear tonight, first one of the year (that i'm happy with!) Taken with the starwave 102 F11 , canon 750D ISO 100 1/40, stack of 102...

Thanks gents... this was my third attempt of the day.. the quick grab through the clouds and rain shower, which wasn't forcast yesterday, and the two from this afternoon really disheartened me if I'm honest.. proper arrrrrrggggggghhhhh moment.. this makes up for it though!

It certainly was chilly! Everything well frozen by not so long after dark here.

Crisp as a crystal, and just as clear. Superb shot of the the 4 1/2 day old Moon.
A splendid sight low in the the very clear Western Sky last night, 
together with the close by Venus shining like a Beacon, looked so nice.

I'd have been itching to get out on that Jules.. it was cold though, I had an extra layer on last night and still, when I went for visual work, the cold just cut through me... buuurrrrrrrrrrrrgh!
