Jupiter and Io.

It was pretty cloudy with poorish seeing last night so I thought I'd try a mono camera and a red filter to see if that would help matters. All done with a 7"Mak @f15/ mono DMK. I quite like the first one where Jupiter is just grazing Io....

Thanks chaps. I know the composite images are impressive but its nice to capture the planet and moon in the same image "properly", if you know what I mean?

All great but the first one gets my vote Gaz. I had a quick peek thru the 66mm and an 11mm and was abit thrown by what at first I though was an aberration-turned out to be Ganymede and Europa really close together. Nice view.
