Jupiter 23rd January

Montana

Recommended Posts

I stayed up really late on Friday night / Saturday morning to see the Great Red spot. This is my second attempt at imaging Jupiter and I was really pleased and excited with the results however I have just seen what other people have posted here so please do not laugh at my attempt ;)

I am glad to say my new camera I got for Christmas works great thanks to the advice of folks here :)

Seeing was terrible so this was the best of the bunch

Cool animation! Not trying to hijack your thread but I imaged Jupiter on its very next rotation at 1056 UT, the moon (Ganymede?) comming in at the bottom of your animation had passed behind the planet and was just ouside the frame.
