A few Close up moon shots

The only two shots I managed on the 12th and 13th before the fog got too thick.

The southern Mosaic was going to be a full  mosaic,but the fog put pay to that after just one pass(7 frames best 400 from 1500 frames @ 30 fps). :rolleyes:

And Aristarchus was taken as the fog thickened, ( 4 frames, best 1200 from 4000 @ 30 fps from each)

All shots taken eyepiece projection with skywatcher 10mm EP and DMK21 10" f4.7 newt and red filter

I used a variable  eyepiece projection adaptor a little like this one ( I got an unbranded one the same as the one on the left of the image posted second hand ).

Yes indeed, almost exactly the same phase too, I  can never resist a go at Aristarchus if the phase is right. :grin:

It was also posted here on the 3rd of April 2012, unfortunately all my images posted here via my SGL gallery before the move to the new forum platform no longer show in my posts. :embarassed:
