Hello to everyone,

Just joined up after discovering the site while searching for a good CCD camera to use for spectroscopy. Have been interested in astronomy for years, but I have lived under the not-so-friendly viewing sky of Indiana. Hope to move back to Arizona fairly soon which I think is an observers heaven. I look forward to browsing on this forum to learn more about this fun hobby. // Bill

Welcome to SGL. Is it bad around Indiana? You are certainly right about Arizona. I see the captures that imagers get, particularly of the solar variety, that show how good the seeing can be.
