Wide Field Cygnus Area 60mm lens

Hi Every one, for a change I had a good night last night Thought I would try

a wide field on the Cygnus region as there's so much going on in that region.

I am happy with the way it came out.

This was taken on my dual rig my other Camera I was using was the modified

Canon 1100d which was busy capturing The North American Nebula.

Taken with Taken with 8HYL ccd at -20, 9 x10 minute subs using a canon 60mm macro lens

at 60mm on the Canon 1100d it would be around 96mm due to the 1.6x crop factor,

but due to the large chip on the 8HQYL it worked out about 60mm.

processed in PI and PE.

Paul

First class stuff, i'm also based in essex in colchester and it was my target last night, I would love to get as fine a detail as you achieved in those. Take a look in Widefield post and you'll see my effort.

Excellent wide field.. :)

I thought the sensor from the QHY8/QHY8L & SX M25C was from the same as the old Nikon D70? so the crop should be near the same x1.5?? Sony ICX453.

Also found in the noisy D40 & D50 ( warm not cooled of course )

Very nice indeed :) I like widefield with lenses too. I get set up by something like midnight or so and leave it all running while I go to bed. I seem to end up getting to bed about 12:30 - 1am :D I like to check it's working properly before going to bed.
