StuartJPP
I know there should be a bit of landscape, but I forgot to take my ball head with me (remembered my bald head though). So just pointed towards the sky and framed as best as I could with what I had and let it go for a while. Taken on holiday in Fuerteventura. Canon EF-S 15-85mm Lens @ 15mm wide open with modified Canon 1100D mounted on the AstroTrac. 10x 120 second subs at ISO 400.Edges are a bit fuzzy due to lens used (and that it is fairly wide field). There was a serious gradient that took ages to get out as best as I could. Couldn't use the Astronomik Clip filter as it is not compatible with EF-S lenses.Hope it isn't too hideous.2013_05_07 - Milky Way by StuartJPP, on Flickr
