Just had a Meade 2090 telescope bought for my birthday!!! Have wanted one for forever and am over the Moon.

Havent really had much chance to see anyhing yet as its so bright.. But cant wait to make my first discovery.

Welcome to SGL from another in murky London! If you download Stellarium you will get a good idea of what you COULD see, especially if you stayed up to the wee hours.

Actually it's quite a clear evening, I was just watching Jupiter setting, beautiful.
