Thats tough - theres a sort of "law" I reckon, just when you get some spare cash, something occurs to swallow it all up, plus a bit more sometimes !

At F/4, surely a T5 20mm would be better? Or is this closer to 5?

maybe Jonathan but the 'problem' is the focal length at about 1800mm. the 20mm would reduce the field to less than a degree which I prefer.

True, would give 90x. I think, then, it comes down to price between the 21mm Ethos and the 26mm Nagler, as they give pretty much the same field of view. Of course, the Ethos has the added benefit of a smaller exit pupil.

26 is cheaper by far (albeit uncommon used), try it when you come over.
