Hi all

i am very new to this stargazing game and i love it alread.

i got a telescope for my christmas and love using it, the images i have seen are great

i have always been interested in the universe and this present has only increased my interest.

so far i have (clearly) seen the moon, jupiter & sirius i have seen others but all just look like small stars.

i have a celestron PS1000 reflector telescope and i find it pretty easy to point & look

i do not know any technical jargon relating to astronomy and i am looking to learn how to use coordinates.

i think this site has good potential and would love any hints or tips to improve my expierence.

oh and i am from glasgow scotland.

i have attached a photo i managed to get from my iphone camera pointing down my lense.
