Hello to all.

I am fresh to the forum and have just gotten my first telescope.

SkyWatcher Explorer 200 EQ5 mount.

This was a 41st birthday gift. :hello2:

I am absolutely blown away by what I have seen so far and I feel I have only scratched the surface of what this bit if kit is capable of.

My next step is to attempt some astral photography. But I am having some difficulty figuring out the camera mounting procedures.

I have posted some questions about this in the "Beginners Help and Advice" area of the forums.

Hope to get to know many of you and start learning more about my favorite new toy! :)

Welcome to SGL!

That's a great 'scope. My only word of caution: Have a bit of fun dabbling in astrophotography but don't get too hung up on it at first - it's a very slippery slope and can lead one to neglect the joys of observing :hello2:
