Hi from newbie

Hi I'm Tim im new to astronomy but I have always had a interest in the stars and space exploration since I saw the mars surveyor launch in 96 when I was on holiday in Florida.

I have been using binoculars for about 5 months to learn the constellations and keep a eye on the planets.

I have recently purchased a celestron astromaster 130 so I can explore the skies a bit more.

It would be nice to chat with some people who are like minded as there aren't any local groups near me.
