After reading the lengthy code of conduct, I am ready to say hello!

After browsing around on this forum for a couple of days in my free time, I figured it was time that I make an account and start contributing.

I'm an amateur astronomer of about 3 months. I almost immediately branched off into astronomical spectroscopy and have been using my Rainbow Optics grating with my home made 8' telescope. I have also done a little bit of astrophotography mainly with Jupiter.

I feel as if I've hit sort of a block though. I'm not sure where to go from here. If anyone has any tips, that would be great!

Thanks, and hello! :)

Hi. Synthetic, and a warm welcome to the SGL forum.

There are a few members interested in, and practising spectroscopy,

and one that comes to mind is member Merlin66.

I'm sure he will pick up on your thread, but if not, you could send him a Private Message.

Enjoy the forum, it's a great place.

Well done on reading the Code of Conduct too :).

Ron.
