Clear skies tonight?

Blue skies here in the West Midlands but also lot of high thin white clouds which might spoil it.

After reviewing various forecasts i doubt it'll be clear tonight most forecasts are presenting reports with upto 88% cloud tonight.

Although, they have been wrong before (i hope they are about tonight) but a quick look @ sat24.com and im slightly inclined to believe the reports for tonight!

Tuesday/Thursday are probably better days (again, i hope!) But this could change closer to the time

Had a good day in the garden and was hoping to get the scope out (not used it for a month). Of course it's cloudy now and forecast isn't great for the week.

beautiful weather all day - set out for Brecon drove about twenty miles and the fog started coming in and clouds covering the horizon =- had to turn around and fight another day - never mind hopefully my Telrad will be here for next weekend anyway.

Those parts of the sky not cloudy have a high haze for me. Plus bonfire over the road is adding to the murk!

Moon/Jupiter/venus combo looked nice through my bins though

High hazy clouds for me. Still trying some imaging but getting a orange hue. Light pollution reflecting mback down I think.

Yeah, same here. Blue sky all day, looked clear this evening, took scope outside to cool down, half an hour later could hardly see a thing through the orange glow.
