Hi,

Just to let you know of a new member from Glasgow Scotland. I have come into Astronomy through my background in photography. I watched BBC Stargazers last year (and this) and thought I would love to try and take some of the images seen on the programmes.

I will post some photos of my new kit and some photos taken, both with camera lens and with my new telescope. (Skywatcher 80ED DS Pro; for the quality of the glass for photo imaging)

I have also joined the Astronomical Society of Glasgow and have already benefited from advice given. Also the local specialist Photography/Astronomy shop in Glasgow has also been a great help in getting started.

I now also recognise that there is a great joy in just observing, aided and unaided, the wonders of the night sky!
