Hi all, Ian here from Bristol (Hanham specifically)

Currently resorting to using some bino's for my stargazing but looking to upscale at some point. Its a matter of getting the scope in the garage without SWMBO seeing the delivery...

Anyway - in time would like a 200 or 250 dob but for now its the 8x40 binos (Olympus pair I've had for 10 years but they work)

Apart for that - hi.

Oh, I'm off to CT in 3 weeks to see the family so might pop along to Sutherland (SALT) for a brief visit. Should be good.

Hi Ian and welcome to the forum. Send me a personal message (top right of your screen) for the low down on what is going on 'astronomically' (.....and I don't mean parking permits!:)) in the Bristol area.

rather than create a new topic, i'll say i'm also the proud owner of a new 200p dob ( currently in boes in my car)

Ordered From FLO on Monday night ( 10pm), despatched yesterday at lunch and in my hands first thing this morning. Result...

Now I just need to get all my new toys delivered to work so as not to incur the wrath of SWMBO
