Finally, we meet again M42, two years have passed!

Ahoy!

Finally some clear skies just in time for christmas. After shooting alot of subs on a target soon to be processed, I decided to have a go at the Orion Nebula before throwing the towel in, I set up a quick series of 5min subs + 15sec subs for the brightest stuff...

First, let me show you the result of last time I tried imaging the Orion nebula, two years ago (my 2nd deepsky shot ever)

Unmodded dslr + 190MN (also my first scope)

Note that this is a newish reprocess, the first was true comedy when I look back at it.

& here's the new one!

L: 4*5min + 4*15s

RGB: 2*5min + 4*15s each color

I'm using the Starspikes Pro photoshop-plugin from ProDigital Software, I think there's a evaluation-version on their site, so try it out!
