Hello everyone,

I`m from Canvey Island and been interested in astronomy and spaceflight all my life.

Work committments have prevented me to do much observing this year but I am gonna change that for next year.

The sort of stuff I`m into is observing and drawing the planets with my Europa 8" Newtonian reflector.

Another part of my hobby I enjoy is visiting astronomically themed places of interest. These include Herstmonceux, Greenwich, Norman Lockyer observatory, leicester Space Center, Goonhilly and both the science and natural history museum. I plan to visit Bath in the new year because I am very interested in William and Caroline Hershel.

My favourite astronomy magazine is "The Sky at Night", I`ve collected every issue and also met Sir Patrick Moore a couple of times too.
