fly in the sky Posted October 25, 2011 Author Share Posted October 25, 2011 thanks guys,had the scope 2 months and only had 2 clear nights!! still, given me time to learn a few things.ra and dec,new words,but i"m gettin there.think i should give the attacama desert a go,anyone no any cheap flights!! on a serious note,what would be the best size eyepiece for viewing dso,i have 20mm and 10mm.pondering whether to buy a box of eyepieces inc" barlow and plossl? I just bought two separates - a 40mm wide angle (16x magnification easily gets the Pleiades in one field of view) and a 6mm with good eye relief for decent magnification.For visual Astronomy, you should only need another two to cover most bases.
