was browsing through them and one caught my attention

now here comes the impulsive side of me,

yeah you guessed it

i but a small bid on

after all you guys said about ebay i felt guilty but not for long ha ha ha

For £40 it sounds like a worthy little punt - you never know it could be quite usable and you've not lost a lot if it doesn't work out

"evening all" if the cap fits wear it, for 40 pound ? was it a bargain ? it might turn out to be a good one. but you no as much as i do that things only go on e bay for two reasons,its no good and the person as tried every were else to sell it.or they just thought that was a good place to sell it comeing from a cop shop theres no chance that its duff ,we will soon find outhope it turns out to be a good one . for that price you got a couple eps a barlow and a scope and a motor drive eq

At £40 you can't go far wrong, I used to spend twice that on a night out just to wake up feeling the next morning. It will be interested to see what you think to the views through it.

that EQ2 with motors could sell on its own for £70 eyepeices £2 - 5 each and the scope...... (well people buy all of them bits on astroboot for projects) worst case.... basic widefield astrophotography

that's a cheap-fast luring curve you got there.. in the end you may even like it and hope you do too.

for £40 it looks a good deal,i had a Helios 6" could not fault it at all.at least you have not spent a kings ransom and like others have said you should be able to get your money back should you choose to upgrade or just sell up.

I think this is a case of the old lazy cut and paste. I admit I do it but I always check that I'm advertising the right item before listing. If your not on a wind up Peter??? IMHO I wouldn't waste the petrol going to see it and ask the seller to send more pictures and post them on this thread. I fear you are going to find out the reason we say what we do about eBay!!
