First NLC`s images

Hello here are my first attempts at imaging noctilucent clouds, taken about 23.30 onward near glasgow.

Great set of images...looks quite a dark location even being near Glasgow.

I noticed this display around the same time through breaks in the cloud but by the morning when the skies cleared there were just a few ribbons & patches.

your image is great also, they were taken at mugdock country park, just on the edge of the city, but the skyglow to the south. Good to have another imaging target bagged! how is the light pollution down kelso way?

Skies are quite good down here with the Cheviot Hills SE and Kielder due south.

very nice captures,

managed to see them aswell last night while walking dogs round Bothwell Castle,

they were N - NW direction at around 11.30 pm, and def unmissable and great sight only 2nd time i've seen them in 3yrs

I saw some NLCs last night from the West Midlands, but they were very low on the horizon, around 15 degrees, behind some houses. I did think about hopping on the bike and cycling to the nearest hill to see them, as they were very bright!!

Thanks for the comments, was great to finally see them for the first time, forgot to say caught capella in the first photo, as it skimmed the NNW horizon, looking forward to jupiter putting on a good show now in aug so need to dust off the webcam!
