  1. had a few issues with use in the pluggin to control the scope ,but a hope o cure that today but we will see its a mile of at the min but a great freebie do not forget to download all the star cats

    goto configuration,klik on tools,klik on star cat updated theres about 4 to download also put you lihgy pollevels in

  2. hi isaabelle hope ya have in a good trip things are go in well here the M list is go in well about 65 now and comets but take in pics now is spoiling just looking visaul as gone out the window,its getting darker a little quicker every night here and jupiter as joined the vigil,but video is hard to many thermals on these hot nights but autum is just around the corner, hope the rest trip goes well and you have chance to get the scope out

  3. sounds like "the bigger scope" fever is at work already get a spirit level to make sure the base is level always pays,i spent the best part o 3 months just looking arondon a night and loved i .but a little reding and looking for things i esy once you notice a few const`s yo scope will light up with goodies

  4. hi andy, a think most 1st nights out are a it of a heart breaker for a few reasons,ecause we all ways want more than are scopes will show us.ut do not give up yet .

    theres plenty to see out there and you scope should and will let you see most of them,you should try a few targets like cassopeia,cygnus they have plenty to see and lots of dif objects to look at and is a good place to start am sure once you start looking around you will start to see more

  5. hi mate what a session i would have bumped the iso up and removed the color cast (the orange ) but its go in well i got a few last night but went pear shaped at one point but 100 pic a bet you was die in for the end ?did you stick some darks and bias in the mix get the iso up.take a couple at 800,1600 and go in te house and load them up see which ones are the best (800,0r 1600)i did 10 last night at 800x 35 secs might post them later but good session you had

  6. lol you could take them over a couple a days,or take say 50 but rember to keep move in the camera .when i look through the view finder i always try to get a a stars in each corner of the viewfinder and soon as they move get them back in thereits a great pic any way.but more subs will make for a sharper image

  7. hi nice to hear about M13 its a nice sight in the 12" i have spent about 20 mins on it last ,lots to see there the more you look at it ya see more was going to get a pic,but it was late. was going for it tonight but as normal putthe scope out at 22:30 and then cloud came in again

  8. well things might pick up today hope the new cable arrives, these blumming ascom drivers and starry night pro pluss 6. all that money and its still a pain, stellarium as it all built and and its free what a pain am spending 20 mins on it once the cable gets here ,and that will be that if it does not works the cables will be in the dustbin by dinner time,hope the trip is going good .

    hi olly yes from Tibby ,I asked the local comp school but its one of these new sports school/sports college and they was not intrested to much red tape they said even tho nthe science department would have benifited am sure.

  10. hi Isabelle nice to se you pop in ,hows the trip going ? i have the same feelings about the 90mm frac but i still see things all be it a little harder and smaller but still i see m57 and the dumbell neb the veil is imposible i look threw the dob and see it look in the 90mm no chance may be a uhc filter is needed not sure hope the trip is goin well
