i neil i use a programe called "blackframe nr" that adds a black frame to your pictures

so do your normal pics 25 of what ever and then take just one dark frame same speed and iso ect

and then run each pic take a look its so easy to use in fact the web site as some great software take a look this black fram one is cool and i use it a lot

just out of interest was it marked in any way are local police station give invisible pens you can mark any thing with that can be seen under ultra violet hope you get the pst back

Hi neil hope ya well another cracker there I used the toucam last night did try a few 30 second shots but the air was so busy got a vit of jupiter stuck them on my photobucket cheers pat

well at seven it was clear as a bell put scopes out 45 mins later full cloud

we have clear skies between 1900/2200 hundred but the weather man is always wrong

it will not do that on my 10d when a set to bulb theres no way of stopping it not sure if you can do that with the 10d

i still fall of my chair when looking at new and old stuff, m13/m71 and m29 they are some which i just can not keep away from i would love to get my daughters school interested in astronomy ,but theirs so much red tape here in the UK hope you have many more great nights

sounds like all had a great night,my daughter likes,the goto 90mm frac she wil look all night Jupiter nor Saturn impressed here her,the wind was a bit to much for me last night did get a bit of moon action,with the 90mm at my mates house he liked the fact with a cheapo web cam and some thing he called small telescope can do this we also got Jupiter witch he could not be-leave i think he said he wants a big refractor

hi Neil and another great set a pics,i was washed out by the moon but i like are moon and love to get it,Jupiter just would not play ball for me last night i tried the focal reducer i have the loan of , on the moon i will see how that all worked out latter and get the pics up some where,the wind was crazy last night the best part of my night was a massive white barn owl glided over the top of the obs it was deadly silent,a great set of pics

HI Isabelle heres a little video i did should help you find it ,have you tried adding all comets and asteroids to stellarium ,theres a guide here on sgl how to do it some were so you can add them makes it a lot easier i did it ages ago

hi neil ,i wish a was a pro ,my budget web cam hahah but it does work get one from morgans you would be supprised i put on my face book about a year ago if any body had a old phillips toucam i got the offer of 3 but sadly only took the one if you want i can try and get you one ,if you want to borrow a web cam of me i can post one to you for free you would only have to buy the adapter do you have one am not sure if you mentioned it before if you do want to borrow one i can post ya one pm me if you want

sounds like a good night,the comets require daily checking it took me ages to find garrand but it was some were easy to find at the time but was looking the other night and could not see a thing ,on the up side with the week of "not bad seeing" i managed to finish cygnus of,drawing wise i put all the cards on a big sheet of plastic and of i went will post it up in a blog at some point,winters nearly here so heres to clear skies and cold fingers and noses

i must get me a heq mount i have a modded 10d but no decent mount :(

its a great sight in my 12"dob and 32mm eptheres to big orange stars in the midle its great was looking at it 2 nights a go still with my 90mm frac its not to bad its really bright ,
