hi mate i have never to date got a decent pic with my cannon dslr not one ,the phillips 900 webcam had some decent shots with that and registax, i would love a ccd camera but they not cheap and a do not have no guide stuff and the 90mm meade is a bit jumpy at timestry one a them phillips webcams from morgans for a tenner you will be suprised how decent they are for planets and the moon is great

never did and still not manages a full month moon pic cycle its very hard with the clouds buy will master it some time a hope

hi isabelle yes the night sky as changed big time lots of new things to see where so small a planet, that we some times get lost in are day to day lives to see it for what it really is

hi what scope you got?,are you use in any software? whats your street lights like , how much knowledge of the sky do you have i would download Stellarium clik it download and search with that its a lot better some nebs are hard to see esp if you suffer from street lights

spend that money on some binos my mate had one of these and he took it back and got a set of decent binos for 80 pound and a cheap tripod freom argos for 12 pound but if thats what ya want then go for it but you may end up with some thing else i would steer clear od supermarket scopes ,saying that if you really want it and it doesw not work out for you am sure you could take it back in a couple a days and get ya money back and welcome to the forum from me

Hi great news sods law, will dictate that you will have cloud coevr for weeks now lol thats a great scope as well should keep you busy for years to come and dso`s will come to life how dark is you garden ?

hi all focus is the thing i would say,if any thing take 5 shots and get the on pc/;aptop and check the pics some times mine look in focus take 100 pics and they all of .am sure in the end it will all work out for you

hi all last night i took a few pics a do not think you have a iso or time issue it looks more like a focusone,once your ready to start camera also needs time to cool down filters ect.take a pic and then have a look zoom in and check every thing is ok if not refocus i have a crawford focuser and it helps whislst get in focus ,the 90mm goto is the same,once best focus as been acheived in raw format then have a play it looks good the one ya did but i would think that 100d is cappable of some clear sharp pics trail and error

get some filters i just blue tack the 2"lpf filter on the lense of my camera works well

try a free programe called photoscape its a great easy to use programe and its ok i us corel prox3 as pshop is ok but as a lot of stuf you do not need great shot as well have you tried ataching the camera you have to the scope?

i rembe a few year ago i kept passing this by thing it was not it,i brought a goto for my daugter(well thats what a kep telling my self) and that soon put a end to that its a mega thing to look at

its to low for me now but its a great sight people usally miss it cos its just a faint smudge and they look in for the hubble image

buy the best you can i have about 10 eps but only ever use 2 ,16mm 32mm

hi since this spot started its totally killed my ham radio 1/30mhz freq range they say sunspots excite the f layers of the ionsphere and make long range low power transmission this is not so nothing heard today

great job the 12"dob gets checked every time a go out , ,made a big change from the factory it was miles of gods knows how i saw any thing but the ups and downs of it was a headache,but now its a brezee
