hi neil
pps i forgot to mention, with the looks of sharpcap, its picked up the tesco camera software, what i would do is just delete all the tesco software of the laptop ,then just load the drivers for the tesco web cam and thats it do not load the rest of the software ,telesto ,Clive my very good friend had the same problem, you seemed to have gained a few extra settings that are throw in the cam out
the rgb24 that should be yuu2 i see your camera is not showing on the top right hand corner as i said neil delete all the tesco webcam stuff and just load the drivers thats allfor the webcam heres a link neil for a video on sharpcap

hi neil, sounds like fun, with the wc when you say you taped the ring to it ?,with the phillips cam did you do the same there ?have you got the right adapters?because it sounds like its not getting enough inwards traveli ts hard to get stars to focus with a web cam the moon and planets might be the best place as these webcams have tiny chips hope you have more luck the screen flashing all colors does not sound right
-
i can not wait to see a moon one
-
try a cheap sky watcher 2" lpf filter blue taked to the lens of the camera then do ya wide field it gets rid of the orange glow and lets me take longer subs at lower iso speeds its worth ago the filter can also be used with the scope, you can get a clip in filter the price is crazy and you get the same results for a 5th of the price
-
they a little dark Neil. get some brightness going in these just had a play with one of ya pics theres a lot of stars just nudge the curves up a bit they great not had a play with that ice yet any good ?
what length are the subs ?are they single shots or a multiple for each pic?
