Yes. However I read your previous post as meaning that comments from the people who had received the two prototypes were the only feedback required by the manufacturer.

However potential market response information may be useful to Rowan too. Albeit from a small self-selecting minority.

It's a Magic Roundabout for me. Though I did appreciate the bird song.

Cloud and some drops of rain in Exeter.

Well at least everyone would know if that had gone wrong! Now for some denso tape to wrap the bottom flange which might make future removal easier.

Hmm, I wonder what part of the job is missing 1.2m of pipe? Such bits are usually bespoke in my experience. Good to see upcycling occur though.

Well that's a use for flanged DI I'm not used to. Neat job all round. I'd have got some stainless washers though.

Nothing to add to that.

He doesn't need to. His team have already sent people to the ISS. Trouble with Nibbles?

I'd definitely want to do this before splashing out. Sadly the current situation make it unlikely for a little while yet I think. -
Help me with the Letter to Council to shade Streetlights
UKDiver replied to RolandKol's topic in The Astro Lounge
Quite likely. I'd take a similar approach to the council, asking them to reply in a set timescale. They might have a key performance indicator on their website. Adrian- 21 replies

Help me with the Letter to Council to shade Streetlights
UKDiver replied to RolandKol's topic in The Astro Lounge
Always ask for a response from you MP. If it is on a subject that you want forwarded to a minister, ask you MP for the ministers response to be copied to you. Also sign it, don't use a stock letter without adding your own name and address. Otherwise you may not really be getting them to do anything. Asking for a response may still not mean satisfactory outcomes. I've added the text I used in such a letter. Whether anything really changed in the government's real intentions is impossible to say, but amateur divers did get some representation after this and many similar letters. How to sell a property in a Dark Sky Location?
UKDiver replied to Droogie 2001's topic in The Astro Lounge
And the sometimes glorious smell. 😄 -
Bet there was a bit of twitching before the chutes came out. So much for me building 4' rockets from Lego.

Warehouse Expansion & Order Dispatch Dates
UKDiver replied to FLO's topic in Sponsor Announcements and Offers
None of the ex-car show rooms big enough for you? Now if only you could get them and all your neighbours to turn their lights off at night my southerly view might be a smidge darker. -
**Tiny small print at the bottom of the page; "Tuned to your home latitude, limited travel north or south of home." The ones found on the Mary Rose are about the same size as some of the larger watches some like to show off.

It's a big place, but sadly on a large industrial estate. The original building has a stream running through, part of the building climate control. I've not been in the extension yet. They support a fair few local groups/professional bodies as part of their social charter. I lost a team member to them a couple of years ago, that'll learn me to encourage a school leaver to get into data science! Some odd characters there too, make stereotypical mad scientist look like cosplay.

Met Office has the computers and always seems to be upgrading... Re local weather, I agree. Exeter's prevailing weathr comes from the SW, but Dartmoor has a role in what actually reaches us. Regular drives to Plymouth for weather sensitive activities shows this very well. Thankfully webcams help.

BBC now buys the service from Meteo Group, a brand of DTN, whoever they are.

Welcome to the SW and the wonderful weather... I'm based in Exeter, home of the Met Office. I'd swear sometimes they could not get a very short term forecast right if they looked out of the window!
