  1. And already I'm seeing an extrasolar system. Not to mention , all these from the opposite end .😎 So yeah , taks seem to break the laws of physics.
  2. Nice wooden ... Chair! Oh, the tripod too.
  3. There's a new(at least to me) 80mm F/6.25 FPL-53 doublet at FLO. Looks very ideal for grab and go wide field. All other 80mm F/6 are triplets. https://www.firstlightoptics.com/telescopes-in-stock/stellamira-80mm-ed-f625-refractor-telescope.html 4.8° field at 16× with the 31mm Nagler. Or 4.6° field at 18× with the 28mm UWA.
  4. Why have you misplaced the eyepiece with the telescope?
  5. Agreed . Except that the reader has to ignore the comments on the eyecup problems.
  6. Mark, https://www.cloudynights.com/topic/810970-astrotech-28mm-uwa/#entry11730857 How about waiting for a few reports? https://www.teleskop-express.de/shop/product_info.php/info/p2757_TS-Optics-2----28-mm-Ultraweitwinkel-Okular---82--Feld.htmlMark This is the TS version of the same eyepiece. But maaaaybe a bit close in FOV to the 20mm 100°.
  7. What 😱? I thought you were ownest 😀.
  8. I'm sure the NP 101 would be his best bet.
  9. Detailed reports are always a pleasure to read. Thanks! Clear skies ..
  10. Uhm do you think it will be visible in a 8"? I guess if it is visible in 10" ... I may juuuust able to spot it with perfect seeing and enough magnification. I will try once I get clear skies with excellent seeing. But don't hold your breath because I'm not sure which decade that would happen from now.
  11. Hi Epick , what magnifications you used to see it? Excellent observation!!
  12. Yes , I'm using Pro but I'm quite sure the plus database will have this asteroid .. One mistake in searching that I commonly do is typing the first word after leaving a space unknowingly. The search just doesn't accept the space for some reason. Maybe you did the same too?
  13. Just try typing 1994_space_P Epick . My first object was it .
  14. The 31mm Nagler in the Genesis is THE widefield setup . Are you sure the Genesis is F/5.4 ? If I remember correctly , I think it is F/5 ..
  15. Outstanding session with a great variety of targets !
  16. This is a calculator recommended by @Don Pensack , though it still is variable depending on few other factors . https://www.cruxis.com/scope/limitingmagnitude.htm
  17. Were you able to split the tougher AB pair John ? This pair is riiiiight at the Dawes limit for a 4" scope but is relatively bright with only a little ∆mag . Perfect choice for your 4" refractor .
  18. Agreed . Don't make NASA come over there .😁
  19. One of the coooolest lunar pic I've seen in my life ! Just wow !
  20. Me too ! Waiting for clear skies in Bangalore since 3 weeks .. At least our fellow observers got clear skies and ecstatic to read those terrific reports !
  21. Thanks mate for the nice new year wish . Hope you are enjoying 2022 down under !
