Thanks everyone, much appreciated. I've been looking at the sunny skies outside but not allowed to do any solar observing. That's hard, lol. I've missed all the lovely activity lately. Oh well, it's still not anywhere near solar maximum so I'll see plenty more in the future, lol. The EQ8 R pro is for my dome for night time and the current neq6 will go in my RoR for solar eventually. I expect it'll be a long wait for it to arrive, months probably but nice to think about while healing. I've also trolled the website for a 16inch f4 Newtonian but I'm definitely going to resist that one, lol. I've really got to get better quickly before I'm bankrupt, lol.

I got bored after a week of not being allowed to do anything and pre ordered a Skywatcher Eq8 r pro mount. That's what happens when I've been scrolling down flo's web pages and feeling sorry for myself, lol.

Brilliant project for someone. I refurbished a pulsar 2.7m dome last year. Took two months from ground zero to working dome.

I got a neq6 wedge for mine, expensive but works a treat. Just Google it. Mine is slightly older than the current model.

I don't know how to take that, lol. I know I'm out of action for a while due to having an op at nearly 63 but come on, 😂. BTW, I got hooked by watching the first moon landing and Neil Armstrong's first step for man and mankind, lol. Never gone away.

Hi Nicolas, I used an 80mm ed refractor with a Lunt Hershel wedge, Baader K-line filter and a Zwo ASI 178mm camera.

Only just got around to processing some June images. Big DIY job stopping processing time. White light of AR region.
