Getting thinner and thinner, think the opportunity for clouds has no probably gone.

As i type its currently just under 50 degrees high, just over 30 degrees from the Sun. Make a fist and use your oustretched arm to judge where in the sky Venus currently is. I use this method every time i am looking for Venus during daylight. Venus is going to get very close to the Sun so i would recommend this method for much longer. These positions can be found free on planets tab on https://www.calsky.com/

I also have one of the "posh" white ones from Russia. It is excellent actually, although i must look pretty odd wearing it 🙂

Just had another little go on the Blue filter image, i think this one is a bit sharper than the previous blue image. Still no sign of the artifact on the edge that the 807 filter image has.

Definitely looking forward to Mars climbing out of the murk and getting a little closer.

Wow not much of that left, that is a really interesting capture! I don't think i have seen an image like that before.

Good job that gap in the clouds was there!

Looked really nice in Bedfordshire as well.
