I've started using the plastic boxes for a company that makes pretty usable containers [sic]. This allows me to have one container for each OTA with focuser, filter wheel, guide scope, relevant cameras, controlling units (e.g. PC stick, ASIAir etc.) and cables all set up ready to take out and put on a mount.

What sort of mount are you planning to support? I had the latter (rat cage) with CGX-L, usually with a 10" newtonian, once balanced and polar aligned it did not need touched ( I checked PA at the start of each session). There is a Pulsar pier waiting to be installed (one day) which some say is more stable as there isn't the flu of the mount supporting bolts

It would be good to see a hed2hed [sic] between different manufacturers and their models

There has been a number of comments regarding trying the previous adjustments; but no feedback as to success with tracking/PEC results

Why will the ASIAir Pro be providing power to? I use the ZWO 12V 5A PSU which gives me ASIAir, ASI294MC-cool, EAF, filter wheel, dew heater and guide camera. My preference is to power mount separately, but before I did power mount separately, with this PSU I had no issue with AVX or CGEM-DX mounts . I've one too, agree it's very flexible in capability.

For my Esprit ED80 I purchased this ZWO bracket from FLO. I think the Evostar has a different focuser - you didn't say which you have. I took my time checking every step, so, took me about an hour - 95% due to essential tremor and the rest to double & triple checking everything Works very well. I did 5 autofocus runs with the ASIAir Pro and it reported the same step position each time.

Maybe so, but the StarTravel OTAs are a very good start for performance/£ As stated previously, I used one for about a year; successfully yo my eyes as a starter.

I’d rather an app to stack images. must have Scan and stack images (FITS, RAW at least) in a folder (must include cloud based folders) ability to stretch stacked image manually and/or automatically ability to zoom in on stacked images Nice to have Real time option for 1. above Option to adjust for outliers (sigma clipping options)

I like the idea of the NCC1701 style Galaxy class command module on the tail.
