    In the end I had to get one of these https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/M6-M8-M10-M12-REDUCER-ZINC-THREADED-BAR-ROD-STUD-CONNECTOR-METRIC-THREAD-/361107093087 and a short piece of M12 stud to make it work. I'll post a pic later if it helps.

    Hi Agnes, a long M12 bolt works well, or the Star adventurer weight with an M8 to M12 adaptor is what I'm using.

    I've seen this on cloudy nights ... Does it tighten up or keep turning ? If it keeps turning it may have been over tightened .

    Sounds like you need more inward or outward focus ... can you try pulling the eyepeice out a bit as a test ?

    Hi, I use Firecapure but should be similar ... it's to do with debayering, should be a setting choosing to debayer during preview.

    If you need any images I have one you can use ... Its not special but it is our star and taken with amateur equipment, and an ameteur bloke 😀

    Nice images, looks it's somehow picked the wrong debayer pattern. Should be GRBG for the 120 mc s Edit - you also seem to be capturing in jpeg from the firecapture log, try an avi and then use autostakkert to debayer / align frames

    Took this with the AZ Gti on SA wedge, 20 x 120 secs in Ha. Connected with PC sysncan app, ascom guided with finder guider.

    Not sure you would see much anyway if you can't see alignment stars ? You could try alignment on Jupiter and then try adding a few brighter stars after .
