    I have been observing for 12 years with scopes, I don't have any expensive eyepieces all mine were bought for under £70. I think I would buy more expensive eyepieces if I lived in bortle 2/3 skies as in my bortle 7/8 I don't think it will make much difference.

    Phone Mark at Moonraker telescopes he made a flange for me to fit a Skywatcher dual focuser to a Meade 127" . If anything he maybe able to machine in place.

    They are except spent £130 on the 5" then got a dual focuser from a friend at a reduced price but had to pay another £130 for the adapter plate made for me by Mark from Moonraker telescopes.

    When I had my 200p I brought it in and left the cap off and the cap from the focuser until the next morning.

    I will hopefully if I get my operations out of the way be able to visit the show in 2023 but with the backlog in the NHS i am not holding my breath.☹️

    Just going to say my friend has the 180 pro with a RACi and binoviewers and says its very solid.

    I usually find M81 and M82 going the same distance between Phad and Dubne again then a touch to the left.

    Nice scope I would love one of those but put a setting circle on the bottom and a wixey that would be ideal for me.
