  1. Just hope I can set it up accurately there was no instructions for the set up of it, I have read online to set it up during the day. I would of thought it would be better on a bright star or as Jupiter is high that would be more accurate.
  2. Not even had it out yet weather been awful
  3. OMG this is horrific, could you not send it off to Mark at Moonraker Telescopes he maybe able to bring it back to life worth a phone call.
  4. I'm going to do the same on my Celestron 10" Starsense

  6. That is a lovely set up I was looking at the Tak on Ebay I looked at the dew spot and it didn't look that bad I thought to myself should be easily cleaned up. But I then saw a !0" Celestron starsense as I have 3 Refractors I thought I would go for that. Cracking scope have to tell us what first light is like under dark skies. Just a quick question the mount how accurate is it at finding objects and can you input SAO numbers thanks. Paul

  10. Its in very good hands and will be used a lot I set it up before without the Starsense just red dot on Jupiter tried the Celestron 25mm all 4 moons and two bands mirror had not even cooled. Yes and found a screw for the other one I knew I would have one. Sent you a link to one of them for when you get your 8".
  11. All the way back from North Yorkshire bumpy roads all over the road humps near mine, checked collimation and it was spot on.
  12. Has anyone thought of putting wheels on the base so it can be wheeled around, Would anyone think leaving the OTA in the dob base would do any harm.
