    Advice please, I have a zwo 533 colour camera if I use a triband filter do I also use a ir/uv cut filter with this camera,if so how, as I understand you should not stack them.Do some triband filters have ir/uv built in 🤔

    If its only slight I would try it on a bright star and see if it affects the image,in the end it depends on how good you need it to be,if you replaced the focuser when you got the scope back could it be more heavy than the original,and possibly flexing at that area,just a thought 🤔

    Hey no need to apologize when I first started stargazing many years ago,. lived in the north of England, I thought if I went to the south of UK I would see the southern stars.We only learn by asking WHY🤔

    I agree great image colours outstanding,I have a few images of m13 but never been able to get those yellow stars using a DSLR , not sure if it's possible.Great job you nailed it 👏👏

    Have a look at Trevor Jones At astrobackyard he has a tutorial on M42 using 10 sec subs for the core and longer subs for the surrounding cloud,then combining the two sets of subs to keep the core from burning out

    You can probably find screws to fit at your local hardware store,as long as you get the right thread .They won't be the same as the original screws but if you look you will find something which looks the part,I have done this in the past.Hope you get a result 😃

    What a fantastic image I have seen images of extended dust before but never like this,you and the lens have made a great team . Now 👏👏😳 I must have a go at this

    Touching a old type tv tube from the back we're the coil fit on the tube when tv as been just unpluged makes for a very interesting experience, not to be repeated ⚡⚡🤬

    I suppose it would give you a measurement of sorts, but in the end sky quality is something we have to accept, are you thinking more like build up your own sky quality maps using the exposure meter. I think it would give you a idea on the night which you could then compare with other nights in the same location.,it is something I thought about at one time but never tried it Good luck 🤞👍

    Hi as far as I know if you set mount to current position you can begin next session from there, however I always return to home position,never tried current position. When you use home position it tells you it is saving data,not sure if current dose🤔

    Going over budget in this game is usually quite common I think you will find.

    I agree m31 is not easy you only need to look a all the various images to see it comes in all shades,but to me keeping the foreground stars true colours is the best way to get the best from your data.

    I agree the new technology telescope's will only get better,I remember when you had to star hop to find objects,then came go-to ,film replaced by digital, So the seestar types are just one more step.Im glad that I've seen all this development and I'm sure there much more to come😃

    Yes I found best with no filters also I found better results using my unmodified DSLR instead of my modded one on this kind of object.
