  1. First thing I would advise is look at the zwo see star 50 and some of the images taken with it. It might be a good option,it's so easy to use and find lots of DSO.
  2. Yeah there are horror stories, and a 103mm refractor is collimation free , and because of the large secondary with f4 Newtonian a 103mm will have similar light gathering power. But I think a lot of the negative side with this particular scope ( I think I know the one you mean) can be delt with by the upgrades available, particularly the secondary mounting which makes collimation less of a problem. Having said all this I'm ordering the 150 Quattro 🤗
  3. As Elp said no daylight savings, also the way you enter the date I made the mistake not realizing you had to use USA format.
  4. Ok thanks for the reply,I'm now getting the hang of it with the helpful people on S G L🤗
  5. Thanks Paul yay... will do for me 👍
  6. Hi I've just started using my ZWO EAF . My star size is 3.11 and 2.9 when focusing is completed. As I'm new to the eaf are these numbers good or not , hope someone can say yay or nay🤔
  7. Looks like it's vignetteing due to the 1.25 inch filter, that's my opinion other's my have some other explanation 🤔
  8. You will only need a IR/UV filter if you have had your DSLR full spectrum modified

  10. Wondering what the focal ratio was if it was on your scope 🤔
