  1. Hi Adam, What software have you used to capture your images as I have had problems using the later updates in SGPro with vertical banding issues. Tries capturing images using the QHY EZCAP and see if the problems persist. Regards SGPro I now use version 3.1.0.457 for my QHY8 Pro and do not get any banding issues. Steve

  11. Fantastic achievement Nigella. Love the final decking. Very professional. Now that I've nearly completed the shutter project, I'd better look at cleaning and polishing my Pulsar, as your dome is making mine look very old & very tired. Steve
  12. Yes he is. I had an issue with my QHY8 Pro and he sent it to QHY in China for repair. He sorted out all the delivery, discussions with QHY and sent it back to me at a very reasonable cost. Far lower than it would have been had I undertook the task myself. Steve
  13. Probably because Bern @ Modern Astronomy is the main UK agent for QHY. Steve
  14. Hi John, I have successfully installed Starnet ++ on my Win 10 laptop. The only difference I can see is I have my files in there own Starnet folder in the Pixinsight\bin folder. Steve
  15. Hi and a very warm welcome to the Lounge Regards your question.. are you asking if either a SW 130/900 or a SW 90/910 are better on an EQ2 mount I would go with the SW 90/910. The SW 130/900 would not be stable on the EQ2. To observe planets requires a stable mount. Steve

  18. Next, drive belt fixed to it's base rail. Finished the rear runner assembly by fixing a top cover strip on each side to stop the rear of the shutter lifting out. Steve
