Davey-T
Got my regulation 10mins of Sun this morning before the rain arrived, quick process, will try to do better in future I noticed than when I align the proms and the surface in P'Shop when I click OK the surface layer jumps out of line slightly, suppose it's something else I've inadvertently clicked on.DaveLS60DS Skyris274

Owmuchonomy
Hi Dave, more at image. Do you use a disc mask in PS? I have similar trouble. I'm experimenting at the moment.
Davey-T
Hi Dave, more at image. Do you use a disc mask in PS? I have similar trouble. I'm experimenting at the moment.I select the surface disc using the quick selection tool and copy and paste it onto the prom disc, change the blending mode to difference and move them into line (which is where the problem arises as once I've got them nicely aligned and play around expanding and feathering the selection I flatten the image and the top one jumps sideways a touch. Also flat fielding in AS2 is hit and miss, sometimes it works sometimes not, the mark just below the 12oclock position is a dust mark which is visible on the master flat but isn't removed by it.Dave
