M45 Pleiades - Saturday 8th January 2011

Well we finally got some clear skies in Kent and I spent both Saturday and Sunday in the Observatory. I also did the Rosette but will post that separately.

M45 13 x 5mins (1 hour 5 mins)

Modified Canon 450D 800ISO, + darks flats and Bias, CLS filter

Canon Utility

Guided on QHY5 with PHD

Processed in DSS and CS3

Great image, you certainly have a talent there Carole. I just wish I could make out the dust clouds visually as it make M45 even more impressive than it already is.
