Hi all,

Found another astronomy site to peruse.

My name is Robert I live in Livingston in Scotland. Always had a passing interest in the stars. Remember watching Cosmos with Carl Sagan when I was younger but that was about it.

About 7 years ago my son was at a craft workshop and I had to collect him from it. On the way back he asked what the big white thing in the sky was. "It's a star" was my reply, anything in the sky was a star. Thinking that was not a good answer I thought I'd find out what it was. Was surprised to find out it was Venus. Not only that but I could also see Mars and Jupiter. That caught my interest but it dwindled quickly with the purchase of a Seben telescope. Interest was rekindled with the 50th anniversary of Sky at Night.

Now proud owner of a Celestron Nexstar 6SE and a pair of 7x50 bins.

Hopefully get out more this year with the telescope..

Thanks for reading it.

Robert
