I'm a Manchester City fan (and yes I have been for 43 years - not just recently since we had a bit of spare cash). Sorry about the weekend Marc! Let's hope we can make Teddy happy (well sort of given the league implications for Liverpool) and beat United at the weekend!

No I'm deffo going..I just need to hit the hobby store on the way outa hull and pick up some red acetate! hope some one has some scissors when I get there :D

The biggest prob I ahve is ...I dont know if I should get wine...or beer....wine makes me drunk fast and a bit frisky...so maybe beer is a safer option!

Just to make you feel better I have spent a couple of hours this afternoon with Mike P and Steve (Paxo) at Lucksall partly helping with the tent erection. The site looks great and in fact the sky is clear now in Hereford. This is going to be a great social event and you will regret if you don't come.

I will update tomorrow if that helps.

I'm glad you've decided to go Matt. As others have said, it's mainly for socialising and picking up tips. Plus you look like you do line dancing?? I've never done it and was hoping you could show me a few moves!

Get beer! If you get too tiddly you'll get things wrong and miss loads! Plus the risk of dropping and breaking equipment! I've done it, or at least saved my scope and damn near broke my knee! :D

Looking forward to seeing you.

As an amateur meterologist for 31 years I can pretty much guarantee with the current high pressure and breeze that although we will get cloudy spells we will also get some clear spells particularly on Friday and Saturday night..

Also I am going to enjoy the time with my boys whatever the weather!

Well the bags are packed......the list ticked off....I know I'm bound to miss something important......have wine and beer......and plastic wine glasses how posh am I.

AstroSurf...I don't do line dancing..just like dressing up in cowboy hats :D ....but I was a killer mover on the rave scene back in the nineties! So if you wanna sink all three bottles of vino and throw some shapes I'm ya cowboy!! I know I'm going to get drunk and I'm going to make a fool of myself...but hey ho...you only live once....Oh and if anyone finds me in a drunken state and I mention fun things to do with fire and electricity please keep me away...tie me up...etc...no matter how cool I say it's going be and how safe I may think it is! :)

Catch yawl tomorrow!

I consider Star Parties as social events; if the sky is clear then that is a bonus.

Steve

My thoughts exactly, having a gander at everyone's kit and a good old natter are well worth the 3 hour drive :D
