Mel 15 - rescued from the trash by BlurX ?

I've been away from Astro for some time.. There's quite a few new toys & updates since I last looked so I was intrigued when I heard about BlurX & the reactions to the recent update. I tend to keep most of my data, good & bad, running my automated obsy for a few years that's amounted to a fair bit of bad data 😂 I mothballed the Obsy in spring 2022 due to life & health demanding too much of my attention so I dug out some old data from Feb 2017 I'd never been happy with to test BlurX. Framing was bad & quality poor. 3 hrs of Ha, 1 hour each of OIII & SII. I shot this on the RC with an Atik 314L. I just wanted to see what all the fuss was about with BlurX but I was so impressed I've actually continued through & processed it, heavily cropped & rotated with a quickish and very rusty (in my processing skills & the colour 🤣) attempt at my first Foraxx palette too. It may not be a masterpiece but amazing considering it would have been destined to the trash bin a few years ago. Now I'm going to go back through my other unfinished trash 😀

Very nice.  BlurX is certainly a wonderful tool as is NoiseXterminator.  It almost feels like cheating!

It certainly does!.. kids today.. they don't know they're born.. 🤣
