Lovely crater this reminds me of Plato. The area battle scared with fractures. A more careful process. Thought this looked better at 50% downsize.

Hi Bryan  cheers. I have a very close eye on exposure now. Its taking me a while to get up to speed since i stopped. But coming along. 

Looking foward to some good weather at the end of the month. Heres hoping

Sure does. Always liked imaging those fractures.

Great image but for me the light adding depth to the cliffs and ridge lines of the Appennines(?) steals the pic'.

A beautiful capture, exposure could not be better as even areas which usually blow out are showing fine detail.

The problem with areas like this as you say controlling the highlights. without the image lacking dynamics. and being impossibly dark. Fortunately there are tricks that can be applied. Thanks Sunshine
